1. Acceptance of Terms

By using Peggy's Post ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

2. Description of Service

The Platform is a pure connection tool—we do not sell goods, process payments, or handle delivery. All transactions occur entirely outside the Platform, directly between Buyers and Sellers. Peggy’s Post is not involved in the exchange, delivery, quality assurance, or fulfillment of any goods or services. We do not mediate, supervise, or guarantee any transaction.

The Platform is provided “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. (See Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act safe-harbor language.)

5. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, in no event shall Peggy's Post or its affiliates be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the Platform.

6. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Peggy's Post, its officers, directors, employees, and agents, from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including attorneys’ fees) arising out of your violation of these Terms or your improper use of the Platform.

7. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Any dispute shall be resolved in state or federal courts in Pennsylvania, or through binding arbitration if you and the Platform agree.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time, for any reason, without notice. Subscription cancellations must be managed directly by users through Stripe’s billing portal. Peggy's Post does not process cancellations on behalf of users.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We’ll post the “Last updated” date at the top. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Payment and Subscription Terms

Subscription payments are processed securely by third-party provider Stripe. Peggy's Post does not handle or store payment information. Users are responsible for managing their subscriptions directly through Stripe’s billing portal, including cancellations. Peggy's Post does not process refunds or dispute payments. Subscription benefits may be adjusted or revoked at any time, in accordance with our platform policies. Stripe is an independent third-party payment processor. Peggy's Post is not responsible for Stripe's payment processing, security, or data handling practices. Any payment disputes or issues must be addressed directly with Stripe in accordance with their policies.

12. Customer Support

Peggy's Post offers technical support for platform access and functionality. We do not offer dispute resolution, transaction assistance, or product support between Buyers and Sellers. Any disputes must be handled directly between the parties involved.

13. User Responsibility

Users are solely responsible for the accuracy, legality, and safety of the items listed and the content posted. Peggy's Post does not verify, vet, or guarantee any listings, user claims, or the condition of items. Users must perform their own due diligence before entering into transactions.

14. Reporting Abuse

Users may report inappropriate content or suspected policy violations through platform-provided reporting tools. Peggy's Post will review such reports but does not guarantee the removal of content or the outcome of reports. Repeated false or malicious reporting may result in account suspension.

15. No Purchase Guarantees

Peggy's Post does not guarantee the availability, accuracy, quality, or successful sale or purchase of any item listed on the platform. All exchanges are voluntary, community-driven, and occur outside the scope of the Platform.

16. User-Generated Content

Users are solely responsible for the content they submit to the Platform, including but not limited to listing descriptions, profile bios, and messages. Peggy's Post does not pre-screen, monitor, or verify user-submitted content and is not responsible for its accuracy, legality, or appropriateness.

We use automated systems, including profanity filters and community reporting tools, to help maintain platform standards. However, we do not guarantee the removal of offensive or inappropriate content. Continued use of the Platform indicates your acceptance of this self-moderated structure.

17. No Refunds or Transaction Enforcement

Peggy’s Post does not facilitate, guarantee, or enforce any transactions between Buyers and Sellers. We do not process, issue, or support refunds—whether for payments, goods, or services. As the Platform does not handle physical goods or participate in any transaction flow, any and all disputes, cancellations, or issues must be resolved solely between the parties involved.

By using this Platform, you acknowledge and accept that no assurance is provided regarding the availability, quality, accuracy, delivery, or completion of any listing or exchange.

18. Trust and Reviews

Peggy’s Post does not verify the identity or credentials of users, including sellers, buyers, or businesses. While we support transparency and accountability, we do not have the resources to vet individuals or entities. Instead, the Platform uses a review system that activates only after a verified exchange has occurred. Reviews may only be submitted following mutual contact and token exchange between users. This helps ensure that ratings reflect real interactions and are not used maliciously or arbitrarily.
